Engr. Dr. Ibrahim Abdulai Sawaneh is a senior lecturer at the Ernest Bai Koroma University of Science and Technology, Magburaka, Sierra Leone. He did his bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from the Institute of Advanced Management and Technology (IAMTECH), now the University of Management and Technology. He holds a master’s in Computer Science and Engineering from the University of Electronic Science and Technology of China and a Master's in Human Resource Management from the Professional Global Training Institute, United Kingdom. He has a Ph.D. degree in Computer Science from the Atlantic International University in the U.S. Furthermore, Sawaneh is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Management Science and Engineering, majoring in Public Security and Emergency Management at the Wuhan University of Technology Wuhan P.R China. Sawaneh is a writer, humanitarian, philanthropist and has published several academic articles and authored a few textbooks on the following areas: Disaster Risk Reduction, Disaster Risk Management, Cybersecurity, Disaster Policy Implementation, disaster and emergency management, and public security and emergency management. Dr. Sawaneh is a researcher at the Global Foundation for Cyber Studies and Research based in the U.S and also a corporate member of the Sierra Leone Institution of Engineers. Dr. Sawaneh has published more than 25 academic publications.
