My name is Sharon Campbell-Phillips. I am from Trinidad and Tobago. I am very enthusiastic about community work and the development of others. I am also very passionate about conducting research as it allows me the opportunity to share my knowledge with others and educate them as well as enhance and develop myself. I am currently employed with the local government of Trinidad and Tobago where I work at the Division of Community Development. This Division is dedicated to developing communities so that persons’ standard of living can be enhanced. I am also a researcher. My research career began when I was approached by a classmate from Bangladesh to collaborate and write professionally. I accepted the challenge and we began writing. When I received my first publication, I was very excited and was motivated to continue writing. I gained my knowledge about research and understood it clearly when I began my Master’s degree at the University of the People. I am very grateful for all the knowledge that I have acquired so that I can impart it unto others. The University of the People is the Education Revolution and it is the world’s first tuition-free, nonprofit American accredited online university. It has a groundbreaking online learning model and instructors from the world’s foremost academic institution. University of the People offers the opportunity of a high quality, accessible and affordable American degree. The university also allows students the flexibility they need to earn college and graduate degrees to build brighter futures wherever they are located.
